If you are a catered student, you will need to hand in your key/fob before leaving for the vacation period. If you are a self-catered student, you can take your key/fob with you, but please make sure you keep it safe.

For those staying in catered accommodation, your last served meal is usually a continental breakfast served from 8am - 9.30am on the Saturday after term ends, but you can confirm this by asking at your Residence Reception.

Important information

Before you leave for the vacation, remember to leave your accommodation in a clean and safe condition.

This means clearing away rubbish, washing up, emptying bins and making sure any unwanted items are taken to a bin, skip or donation point. If you’re leaving before your flatmates, please make sure you don’t leave anything behind for them to deal with.

It’s also a good idea to check windows are closed, appliances are switched off where needed and any food that could go off while you’re away has been removed.
