▢ Clean shelves, surfaces and drawers
▢ Clean your en-suite bathroom, if you have one
▢ Vacuum the carpet
▢ Take all rubbish and recycling to the external bins provided
▢ Remove anything from shared kitchens, utility rooms or communal spaces that could cause mess, smells or inconvenience for your flatmates
▢ Wash up and put away anything you’ve used in the kitchen
▢ Remove any food that may go off while you’re away
▢ Leave shared areas clean and tidy for anyone who may still be staying
▢ Close all windows
▢ Lock your door
▢ Turn off taps in the sink and shower
▢ Turn off electrics where appropriate, including electric radiators, heated towel rails, sockets and light switches
